❋ Purpose1:1 sessions allow time and focus to really look at the nitty gritty of how you move and breathe; where there may be imbalances in your body and compensations. People often book 1:1 sessions because they feel out of depth in a group class setting, they have specific things they would like to be assessed and looked at or they would like to work up to attending a group class.
❋ What to expectYour appointment includes a full case history, discussion of your short and long term goals, functional assessment, learning the 5 key Pilates principles, and guidance through your first tailored Pilates programme & a home programme that you can follow along with between sessions.
❋ Expert FacilitationLed by an experienced clinician who can combine your medical history and needs with your physical progress.
❋ A Personalised programmeYou will leave with a personalised programme to follow through our partner software PhysiApp.

Group classesWhat to expect
An induction is compulsory before attending a group class.
This allows me to get to know your medical history, your previous experience, ability and function. This information is used to plan the class and to keep you safe yet challenged and making steps towards achieving your goals.
You will be observed individually and corrected thoughout the class.
Each class has a warm up, main section and cool down.
You will be guided through each exercise verbally and visually.
There are always level options so you can work at a comfortable pace.

Please arrive 5 minutes before your class start time wearing clothing you can move easily in.
Mats and equipment are provided. You are welcome to bring your own also.
Wednesday17:00-17:30 (starting 28th October) Clinical Pilates for hEDS / POTS / PEMS
17:45-18:45 Clinical Pilates for hypermobility
19:00-20:00 (starting 28th October) Clinical Pilates open class
Friday07:30-08:00 (starting 30th October) Clinical Pilates open class
Group Classes: How It Works-
Head over to the Helping Hands Health online booking page to book your 30 minute induction.
A class induction is compulsory for anyone who would like to participate in a group Pilates class.
It’s important that I know your medical history, level of ability and other information to keep you safe and challenged in your class.

Pilates group classes are booked by term because it works best if you are consistent with your workouts.
Head over to the Helping Hands Health online booking page and buy your term class pass.

Once your class pass is on your Jane App account you then need to book into each class that you intend on attending.
